Simply Cats

My name is Taffy. I came to Simply Cats because my owner’s granddaughter was allergic to me. I arrived quite overweight, so I’ll be friendlier and feel much better once I’m down to a comfortable weight. I’m a pretty Siamese cross, as you can see by my sapphire eyes, which makes me kind of exotic-looking. I try really hard to be friendly with people, and my previous owner says I’m good with both dogs and kids. For the right person, I’m sure to live up to my name, and become putty in your hands.

Hello, my name is My Girl. I came to Simply Cats after a nice lady found me outside of her apartment and took care of me for as long as she could. I was terribly matted when I came into the shelter, so the staff here had to shave all of the mats off—it made my fur look funny, but it didn't bother me a bit. It sure did make my skin feel better. I have unusual fur - check out my pure white undercoat! Isn't it beautiful? I’m hoping that I can find someone who will care for me the way a cat deserves to be cared for. No more outside living—that’s my dream!

I share a name with a famous conductor, composer, and writer. Like my namesake, I am a very special cat. Twice I have had my worldview shaken, and twice I have recovered. Even though I’m only three years old, my story could take a while to tell. I’ve already been adopted once from Simply Cats, but my new owners locked me outside to fend for myself. Simply Cats took me back and worked with me to help me trust people again. Like many cats, I take a little while to warm up to a person. Once I do, though, I like to have someone pet and play with me. I especially love wand toys.

I came here because the humans I lived with developed allergies. Before that, I had come to them as a stray. I would love a forever home. As you can see, I don’t have a tail and I think that makes me stand out from the other orange kitties here. Get to know me and you will learn to love me like they do here at Simply Cats.
