Simply Cats

Hello from Simply Cats my feline friends. February was a great month for adoptions as we saw over 30 kitties go to new homes. But we also have some sad news to report.

Near the end of February, a lady came into the shelter after regular business hours with her three kids. The group stayed only a few minutes, then left without saying goodbye to anyone. After the group left, staff attempted to enter the kitten room, but the kitten had been locked. When staff unlocked the door and entered the room, they discovered that one of the new kittens had been stolen.

Normally, people don't come to the shelter to view the cats when the shelter is closed. However, if someone does show up, staff typically lets them view the cats in order to give all the cats a chance at finding a new home.

We are sad to report that we still have not heard any news regarding this kitten. We worry about it's health and welfare everyday.
