Why Adopt from Simply Cats?
By adopting a feline from Simply Cats, it allows us to accept another cat and save its life.
In addition, you are adopting a cat/kitten that is guaranteed healthy at the time of adoption; has been spayed or neutered; treated for internal and external parasites; microchipped; and is or will be fully vaccinated as part of the adoption fee. Each cat/kitten is also tested for FIV/FeLV. Also included in the adoption fee is a three-pound bag of Science Diet dry food, 30 days of pet insurance, and an educational DVD on how to welcome your new cat home.
Adoption Process
We try to make the adoption process as easy as possible. All you need to do is stop by the Adoption Center, and one of our adoption counselors will help you find a cat that will bring lots of joy to your life.
Because Simply Cats’ commitment to all cats entrusted to us is to make sure they remain out of harm’s way, we have a strict indoor-only adoption policy. If you are not able or willing to abide by this policy, it is best for you to adopt from a different agency.
Also, Simply Cats is committed to reducing cat overpopulation through spaying and neutering. Therefore, no cats will be adopted from the shelter until they have been spayed or neutered.
Our adoption fees are as follows:
- Kittens up to the age of 1 year, $75
- Adults age 1 to age 7, $65
- Seniors over the age of 7, $50
Return Policy
While we strive to make matches that last the cat's lifetime, we recognize that there may come a time when someone feels they must return an adopted cat. Simply Cats' policy is to always take back any cat adopted from us.
If this situation arises, you must call and set an appointment for the surrender so that we can be prepared and have a place ready for the cat. Should you return a cat after adoption, the adoption fee will not be refunded, and if you have had the cat for over six months, you will be asked to pay a surrender fee.
