Clyde is July's Cat of the Month!
Hi, my name is Clyde. I came to Simply Cats as a feral cat. I spent the first few months of my life living outside. I was deathly afraid of people when I first came to Simply Cats. It took me a couple of months before I adjusted. But now, you would never know that I was once a wild cat! I love attention, and I seek it out quite often. I love being handled, and I’m not the least bit shy. I just hope that one day someone will notice me and want to make me their forever companion. What a day that would be!
I'm so excited that Simply Cats picked me to be cat of the month! I'm just drooling with excitement. Actually, sometimes when I'm being loved, I drool anyway. The folks around here think it's pretty cute, although I get a little embarrassed myself. I hope this extra exposure helps the right person find me in all the kitties here - sometimes I get a little lost in my crowd of black cats in room 7. You'll know me, though, by the way I will run up to the door to greet you when you come in. Oh! I almost forgot! When I get adopted this month, the lucky companion gets to pick out either a Litter Lifter litter scoop or a pair of nail clippers to take home with me. Either would be good for keeping us both happy.
